Gold Star Moms

An organization of mothers who have lost a son or daughter in the service of our country.
They are a Veterans Service Organization, established in 1928 and chartered by the United States
Congress in 1984.


Gold Star Wives

Supports widows/widowers whose spouses died while serving in the Armed Forces of the United
States, or as a result of service-connected disabilities.


Operation Stephen’s Touch

A free, compassionate listening service for members of military families living without a loved
one. It is a non-denominational ministry that provides a one-on-one confidential listening
ministry. Offered to spouses, parents, adult children, and siblings of those who died or those
who are dealing with separation due to military service.


Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS)

24/7 tragedy assistance resource for anyone who has suffered the loss of a military loved one,
regardless of the relationship or the circumstance of the death. Peer-based emotional support,
case work assistance, connections to community-based care, and grief and trauma resources.
